Principles
Runs on your Mac
Every tool works locally, built on frameworks Apple ships with macOS: AVFoundation, PDFKit, Vision, Speech, Translation and Apple Intelligence.
Nothing uploaded
No account, no cloud, no analytics. Files never leave the machine. The only tool that touches the internet is Download Video, and it talks to the site you paste directly.
Originals untouched
Results are written to a staging folder and published to a fresh dated folder when the batch finishes. If some files fail, you choose whether to keep the ones that worked.
Pay once
One price for all 49 tools and every MightyBench 1.x update. One licence per Mac. No subscription, no upsells.
Features
Built like a Mac app, because it is one.
One native window for every job, designed for macOS 26 with Liquid Glass, keyboard-first flows and a launcher that’s always a shortcut away.
Record Screen · Studio
Record it raw. Ship it polished.
Capture a display, a window, an area or just your camera. The Studio then frames the take on a wallpaper, zooms in wherever you clicked and writes captions from your voice, all on your Mac.
Automatic zooms on every burst of clicks, which you can move, resize or delete on the zoom lane.
Wallpapers, gradients, padding, corner radius and shadow on 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5 canvases.
Captions transcribed on-device. Fix a word and the caption follows.
Export MP4, MOV or GIF from 720p to 4K at up to 60 fps, or copy straight to the clipboard.
Transcribe, summarise, translate, read text from scans and find files by what’s in them, using the speech, language and vision models Apple builds into macOS.
Transcripts as text, SRT or VTT, offline once a language is downloaded.
Summaries as key points, a paragraph or action items, written by Apple Intelligence on-device.
Search Files works the moment you open it. No 300 MB model download.
Dictation types into any app: hold a key, speak, let go.
Drop a folder and the tool works through it on your Mac, with no size caps and no queue. Results land in a fresh dated folder, and your originals stay exactly where they were.
If 1 of 50 files fails, keep the 49 that worked.
Compress Video can aim for a target size, like 25 MB for email.
Hardware encoding on Apple silicon for fast exports, or x264 for the smallest files.
A savings summary shows every file’s size before and after.
Drop files on the Home screen and MightyBench suggests the tools that fit them. When a result is ready, send it straight on: trim, then compress, then burn in subtitles, without hunting through Finder.
Smart Drop looks at what you dropped and suggests matching tools.
Send to next tool passes a result along with one click.
A global launcher on ⌃⌥Space, plus quick actions in the menu bar.
Every tool has its own icon and its own keyboard-first flow.
Nothing matches “”. Try another word, or browse every tool.
Why one app
One app instead of a dozen tabs.
Quick fixes for a video or a PDF usually mean uploading it to someone else’s server, waiting in a queue, then signing up or paying to remove a watermark. MightyBench does the same jobs on the Mac you already own.

Founder price
$39Regular price $49one-time
Founder price for the first 100 buyers, then $49. One-time purchase for one Mac, with every MightyBench 1.x update included.
A Mac running macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Apple silicon is recommended, and the video tools can use its hardware encoding for fast exports. Summarize and the Clean up option in Dictation also need Apple Intelligence turned on.
Is MightyBench a subscription?
No. It’s a one-time purchase: $39 for the first 100 buyers (the founder price), then $49. That gets you all 49 tools on one Mac, with every MightyBench 1.x update included. No subscription and no in-app purchases.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool runs on your Mac using frameworks Apple ships with macOS, such as AVFoundation, PDFKit, Vision, Speech and Translation. There’s no account, no cloud and no analytics. The one tool that uses the internet is Download Video, and it talks directly to the site you paste.
Do I need FFmpeg?
Only for the video and audio tools that convert or re-encode. MightyBench installs FFmpeg through Homebrew in one click the first time you need it, or you can point it to a copy you already have. Images, PDFs, text recognition, transcription and recording don’t need it. Download Video also uses yt-dlp, installed the same way.
Will MightyBench change my original files?
No. Results are written to a staging folder, then published together to a fresh folder in Downloads › MightyBench, named with the date and the tool, when the batch finishes. If a few files fail, you choose whether to keep the ones that worked. There are two exceptions. Batch Rename with Rename originals turned on renames files in place, and even then it checks for clashes first and rolls everything back if a rename fails. Find Duplicates moves only the copies you tick to the Trash, where you can put them back.
Which tools need Apple Intelligence?
Summarize, and the Clean up option in Dictation that removes ums and false starts. Both use Apple’s on-device language model, so Apple Intelligence has to be turned on. Every other tool works without it.
Do the speech and translation tools work offline?
Yes, after a one-time download. The first time you use a language in Transcribe, Dictation, Burn In Subtitles or Translate, it downloads from Apple; after that it works offline. Extract Text and Search Files need no download at all.
Does MightyBench respect Reduce Motion?
Yes. Turn on Reduce Motion in System Settings and MightyBench keeps movement to a minimum. This website follows the same setting.
